In 1976, five visionaries came together to establish a floriculture project on a farm near Funza, in the department of Cundinamarca. Their corporate vision and the values of the business, as well as the values they imposed upon the project, set out a clear and long-term pathway, which allowed them to overcome all the obstacles they came across.
Flores Funza began its production with eight hectares and sixty-seven workers. Forty years later it has expanded: today it has seven production centers in approximately three thousand employees.
Riverdale Farms is a proud member of the Funza group since 1992, and has contributed to extending Funza’s operations into the North American Market.
